About us
Yool is a local youth development organization founded by a group of local civil society and development activists,in February 2010 with the firm belief that youth play critical role in our society.
The organization, initially named Somali Youth and Sports Development Organization (SYSDO) adopted “Yool”, a Somali word which means objective or goal, in 2017 to better reflect its mission
and vision.

To lead youth empowerment in Somalia and support international actors efforts to reach and assist local
youth groups.
